Volunteering

WADE is a lovely local charity, with a friendly team of carers and volunteers. If you have a few hours to spare, we'd love to hear from you.

Trustees: Approx. 5-10 hours per month (varies depending on role focus), you'd be helping shape the future of WADE.

Shop Volunteers: Do you have a morning or afternoon once a week to help out in our friendly shop on Rose Street? This role includes sorting through donations and helping customers in the shop.

Minibus drivers: We offer a pick up/drop off transport service for our members. This role requires a couple of hours in the morning and/or afternoon (not full time / days to suit). Full valid driving licence and DBS check required.

Garden Volunteers: WADE is lucky to be situated in beautiful grounds close to the town centre. Our members especially enjoy the garden. Do you have a few hours to spare to help keep it trim and tidy?

Friends of Wade (FOW): the FOW team of volunteers have successfully raised thousands of pounds for WADE over the years through a variety of activities including fairs, fundraisers, and crafts to sell. If you would like to get involved, let us know.
