Wade Needs Your Fundraising Help!
Friends of Wade (FOW) has successfully raised thousands of pounds for Wade over the years, but in the last year, we have been unable to hold many of our normal fundraising events due to Covid-19. That, combined with the estimated losses to the charity this year due to the enforced closures during lockdowns, has meant anticipated losses of just over £100,000 in our current financial year.
With the possibility of some daylight ahead, we are seeking keen fundraisers to join our 'Friends of Wade' fundraising committee.

The Wade 150 Club
The Wade 150 Club is a fund-raising lottery launched in July 2020.
Wade has now been registered and granted a permit as a Small Societies Lottery under the Gambling Act 2005. This grants permission to run our own regular monthly fund-raising lottery to help offset the losses incurred this year as a result of closing our doors until July as a result of Covid-19.
So please support this major initiative aimed at providing essential support this coming year and hopefully for many years to come, whilst enjoying the opportunity to win a maximum First Prize each month (other than in June and December) of £300, a Second Prize of £150 and a Third Prize of £75. In June and December, the maximum prizes will be First Prize £375, a Second Prize £225 and a Third Prize of £150.
The draw is held on every first Friday of the month.
The key to our offering these winnings is a FULL Membership, please give us your full support to ensure that we can continue to offer the excellent day care that we are renowned for at Wade Centre for the Districts Elderly and those with Dementia requiring our day care respite services.

Easy Fundraising
Sign up here and select Wade Wokingham when you shop online. Many of the best known names in retailing are participating in this scheme, and contribute a small percentage direct to your chosen charity.
Memory Giving
People who attend funerals are often asked to donate to a charity of their choice rather than buy flowers. We have joined forces with Memory Giving, a web site which allows you to choose your charity and to make a donation.
Enter the Memory Giving website by clicking here. Search for Wade Wokingham then follow the on screen instructions and make your donation, which will be much appreciated by us.
Direct debit: make a donation each month by direct debit, however small. All donations are greatly appreciated. It is a great advantage to Wade if you are able to Gift Aid your donations, as we can then claim a contribution from HMRC.
